IELTS Exam preparation courses Timetable
The Cambridge IELTS exam is for people who wish to study at an English speaking university. The university will use your grade on the IELTS exam to decide whether your English is good enough to attend a degree course in Britain or another English speaking country. Also, some employers ask for a particular grade on the IELTS exam from non-native speakers of English. The IELTS preparation course concentrates on the following areas:
- Use of English
- Listening
- Speaking
- Writing
- Exam format and techniques
You will spend much of your class time looking at and practising sample tests and past papers. Of course you will have to study some grammar but learning how to do the exam is of paramount importance so that you will feel comfortable when you actually sit the test. At TLI we run 4, 8 and 12 week courses to prepare to take the test. We will give you a small practice test to decide how much time you need to spend studying before the exam. (The minimum recommended time is 8 weeks)
