The list of countries we have had learners from continues to grow so that now we have had English learners from: China, Japan, Malaysia, Germany, Turkey, Italy, Switzerland, France, Ukraine, Russia, Austria, India, Spain, France, Lithuania, Thailand, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Kyrgyzstan, Colombia, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, Lebanon, Syria, Brazil, Hungary, The Czech Republic and Morocco.

If you are from a country that is not on the list why not do an English course with us here in Scotland and make our list bigger!

Our plans for our school are still very ambitious and we very much hope to be able to expand our premises and student capacity over the next year. In the Summer we were so busy that we had to rent an extra classroom. The extra classroom is only about 200 metres from the school.

We do not, however, want to have large class sizes because we feel that is bad for the students and also bad for your English learning.

Since March 2007 we have employed a total of 12 teachers. They do not, of course, all work with us at the same time. At the moment we have 2 teachers who trained to be teachers with us! In the evening we have an extra 4 teachers doing exam and general courses.

If you are reading this then you might notice the new style of our website. We hope that it is easier to use and clearer.

Spring time is upon us here in Edinburgh so the weather is beginning to get less cold. Our garden is starting to look green again so we are planning BBQs again.

Thank you to all the students who have passed through our school. We miss you and hope you will return one day even just to say hello and let us know what you are doing. We have plans for an ex-students' forum on the website so remember to come back soon to see if it is live yet.
